Warehouse Manager – E‑commerce Freight

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our e‑commerce freight operation in Hounslow. The role involves overseeing all warehouse activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement to meet high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Ensure full compliance with ETSF, customs procedures and health & safety legislation.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
• Implement and optimise warehouse processes, systems and equipment utilisation.
• Oversee stock control, inventory accuracy and housekeeping standards.
• Utilise WMS and barcode scanning technology to maximise performance and traceability.
• Monitor KPIs, produce operational reports and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with freight, transport, customer service and senior management to ensure smooth workflow.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, preferably in freight, logistics, distribution or e‑commerce.
• Strong knowledge of ETSF operations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in an e‑commerce fulfilment environment.
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence (B1) – essential.
• Good understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice.
