Warehouse Manager – E‑Commerce Operations

About the role

This is a newly created senior position within a fast‑growing e‑commerce business. You will report directly to the owner and take full ownership of the warehouse, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end warehouse operation, from goods‑in to dispatch.
• Maintain strict stock accuracy and enforce a defined location system for every product.
• Lead a team of around eight staff, including a senior team member, handling rotas, performance and training.
• Oversee a small in‑house assembly and made‑to‑order production function.
• Control receiving processes, ensuring palletised deliveries are booked quickly and correctly.
• Drive continuous improvement of layout, pick paths and processes, and support the move to a new purpose‑fit site.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and the warehouse remains tidy and compliant.

Required profile

• Proven warehouse management or supervisory experience, preferably where accuracy is critical.
• Highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
• Confident, hands‑on people manager who can lead from the floor.
• Ability to develop and maintain high standards without needing constant oversight.

Required skills

• Salary £35,000 – £40,000 per year, dependent on experience.
