Warehouse Manager – FMCG Operations

About the role

Northwood is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a busy 24/7 FMCG warehousing operation at our Ellesmere Port site. You will be responsible for overseeing storage, shipment and coordination of raw materials and finished goods while maintaining high safety and morale standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day warehouse activities, including inbound and outbound logistics.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within a limited on‑site storage capacity (max. 8,000 pallets).
• Supervise and develop a team of forklift drivers and other MHE operators.
• Oversee stock accuracy, investigate anomalies and produce reports using Excel, SAP by Design and SNAP system.
• Coordinate with third‑party storage providers during the transition to the Flint Distribution Centre.
• Ensure effective use and maintenance of MHE fleet (counterbalance forklifts, clamp trucks, pedal‑operated reel movers).

• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Experience managing a 24/7 warehouse environment, preferably in FMCG.
• Ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
