Warehouse Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead a dynamic team within a growing manufacturing environment in Strood, Kent. You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, driving process improvements, and collaborating closely with senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate warehouse staff and Team Leaders to achieve performance targets.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce regular operational reports.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the warehouse and distribution function.
• Coordinate with the Logistics Manager to optimise inventory flow and distribution processes.
• Ensure health, safety and compliance standards are consistently met.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a warehouse or distribution manager, preferably in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Strong track record of improving warehouse efficiency and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage performance.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on KPI tracking.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
