About the role

As a Warehouse Operations Assistant (Days) you will help keep Aldi’s Regional Distribution Centre in Darlington clean, efficient and running smoothly. You will support daily activities such as pallet organisation, operating a forklift, and maintaining a tidy environment. The role is essential to ensure products reach our rapidly expanding stores.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe distribution centre.
• Organise pallets and manage stock flow.
• Operate a forklift to move goods safely.
• Clean spillages and print price cards.
• Stock vending machines and assist with inventory tasks.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Full of initiative and able to work proactively.
• Alert, reliable and able to tackle challenges quickly.
• Pride in delivering work to high standards.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
