Warehouse Operations Assistant – Twilight Shift

About the role

As a Warehouse Operations Assistant on the twilight shift, you will support the efficient running of Aldi’s Regional Distribution Centre in Darlington. You’ll operate forklift trucks, manage returnable equipment and help drive the centre’s recycling initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklift trucks to load store orders efficiently.
• Control standards and organisation of the returnable equipment department.
• Contribute to the centre’s recycling operation.
• Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse environment.
• Work afternoon to evening shifts as required.

Required profile

• Initiative and a strong team‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, operational environment.
• Reliability for twilight shift patterns.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (licensed where required).
• Basic knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
