Warehouse Operative – Chill Environment

About the role

You will work in a chilled warehouse (1‑3°C) packing milk onto trolleys, moving and emptying them across the chill area. The role is fast‑paced and requires strict adherence to product and safety standards while supporting the daily flow of inbound and outbound goods.

Key responsibilities

• Operate chill trolley packers and shrink‑wrappers to pack milk products.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound vehicles safely.
• Rotate stock, check date codes and ensure correct product placement.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions and risk assessments.
• Perform quality control checks and maintain hygiene standards.
• Replenish materials and support training of colleagues.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.

Required profile

• Positive, self‑motivated attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Willingness to work in a cold environment and wear provided PPE.
