Warehouse Operative – Chill (PM Shift)

About the role

Join a fast‑paced, chilled warehouse (3‑5°C) where you will pick a variety of food and drink items to keep UK stores stocked. You will work as part of a large, well‑known logistics team and have the opportunity to progress to a permanent contract.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and prepare orders for products such as alcohol, meat, dairy, juices and other chilled goods.
• Maintain high standards of product quality and hygiene throughout the shift.
• Operate Low‑Level Order Pickers (LLOP) and Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) safely and efficiently.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including working in a cold environment.
• Meet productivity targets and contribute to shift bonuses.

Required profile

• Willingness to work in a chilled environment for part or all of the shift.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 kg and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work five shifts a week, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Good verbal and written English communication.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Required skills

• Operation of Low‑Level Order Picker (LLOP) equipment.
• Operation of Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) equipment.
