Warehouse Operative (Dayshift/4 on 4 off)

About the role
Join a family‑run air freight and European haulage company as a Warehouse Operative on a dayshift pattern. You will work in a temperature‑controlled environment handling a variety of perishable goods while enjoying a balanced 4‑on‑4‑off schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling equipment and counterbalance forklifts (1.5‑8.5 ton).
- Pick, pack, split and sort shipments for distribution.
- Cross‑check paperwork against cargo to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain health and safety standards throughout the warehouse.
Required profile
- Experience with manual handling equipment.
- Preferably a background in air freight handling.
- Ability to commute to Slough.
- Willingness to work 9 am‑7 pm on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Required skills
- Forklift operation (counterbalance, 1.5‑8.5 ton).
- Manual handling equipment proficiency.
