Warehouse Operative – Fixed‑Term (12 months)

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to support manufacturing operations at Ceva Ridgeway’s Compton site. The role involves managing goods in and out, maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring a continuous supply of consumables, PPE and raw materials for production and laboratory teams.

Key responsibilities

• Record and manage inventory physically and electronically across sites.
• Receive, label and store incoming goods, updating stock management systems.
• Download QC certificates to support product release when required.
• Monitor stock levels, flag low items and assist procurement.
• Handle disposal of expired stock and support waste disposal processes.
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment.
• Participate in bi‑annual stock takes and monthly cycle counts.
• Transfer materials and documentation between sites.
• Carry out regulatory inventories and report anomalies.
• Support compliance with good warehousing practices and maintain training records.

Required profile

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Experience in facilities, maintenance or goods‑in/out operations.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a small supply‑chain team.

Required skills

• Inventory management.
• Knowledge of GMP and COSHH regulations.
• Use of stock management systems.

What we offer

• Salary £24,500‑£26,500 per annum.
• Full‑time (37.5 hours, Monday‑Friday) fixed‑term contract for 12 months with potential permanent placement.
