Warehouse Operative (Forklift Driver)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing manufacturing business in Rochester that needs a reliable Warehouse Operative who can also drive a forklift. The role blends hands‑on warehouse duties with forklift operation in a busy, well‑run environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance and occasional reach forklifts safely.
• Pick and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Load and unload deliveries efficiently.
• Move, store and organise stock while maintaining safety standards.
• Support the wider warehouse team to achieve daily targets.
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and compliant with regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting.
• Forklift experience (licence status not critical).
• Comfortable working a mix of forklift and manual tasks.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliable, hardworking and team‑oriented.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (counterbalance, reach).
