Warehouse Operative – Forklift (Night Shift)

About the role

Carousel Logistics is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join its busy hub on a night‑shift schedule. You will play a vital part in moving customer freight safely and efficiently, ensuring that deliveries meet critical deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Move and sort freight throughout the warehouse.
• Process freight quickly to meet trunk departure times.
• Follow standard operating procedures and contractual performance targets.
• Check and maintain warehouse equipment such as pump trucks and conveyors.
• Uphold high standards of health and safety compliance.
• Support colleagues and contribute to smooth warehouse operations.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of warehouse experience.
• Valid Forklift Licence.
• At least three years of counter‑balance forklift experience.
• Ability to work at pace while maintaining accuracy.
• Good understanding of written English, numbers and instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Proactive and dependable attitude.

Required skills

What we offer

• £13.45 per hour.
• 45 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 16:00‑01:00.
• Up to £3,500 per year night allowance.
