Warehouse Operative – Fulfilment, Goods‑In & Stock

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy, fast‑growing retail supplier in Aylesford, Kent. The role covers goods‑in, picking, packing, stock control, quality checks and dispatch, requiring high accuracy and organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and shipping documents.
• Perform quality‑control inspections, report damaged or incorrect products.
• Log incoming stock, label and store items in correct locations.
• Pick and pack customer orders with high accuracy.
• Prepare UK and international shipments, book courier collections and print labels.
• Process customer returns and update stock records.
• Assist with stock counts, investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory data.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively to ensure timely dispatch of orders.

Required profile

• Reliable and organised with a strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfilment, goods‑in, dispatch or stock control role.
• Ability to work efficiently without compromising accuracy.
• Positive attitude, good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical capability to perform lifting and other manual tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with warehouse management systems.
• Experience using courier booking portals.
• Confidence using computers for stock logging and documentation.
