Warehouse Operative – Full‑Time (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our busy Welwyn Garden City site on a full‑time, temporary basis. You will work as part of a fast‑paced team handling inbound and outbound stock, ensuring orders are prepared accurately and dispatched on time.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Pick customer orders accurately using pick sheets or handheld scanners.
• Pack products securely for dispatch.
• Check goods on receipt and report any discrepancies or damages.
• Move stock throughout the warehouse as required.
• Label and prepare orders for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Assist with stock control and inventory checks.

Required profile

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Flexibility to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends on a rota basis.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Use of handheld scanners for order picking.
