About the role
We are seeking reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our busy furniture warehouse in Birmingham. You will play a key part in handling, loading, and preparing sofas and other furniture for delivery across the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload sofas and furniture from delivery vehicles.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Wrap and package items securely for transport.
- Inspect products for quality and damage.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with stock control and regular inventory checks.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily targets.
Required profile
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy furniture safely.
- Good communication, reliable, punctual and positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and work well within a team.
Required skills
- Carpentry joinery skills (preferred).
