Warehouse Operative – Goods In

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Operative to join our busy Crawley warehouse team. The role focuses on receiving, inspecting and processing inbound stock to keep inventory accurate and moving smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and book deliveries using the warehouse management system.
• Unload goods safely, applying manual handling techniques.
• Check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Inspect items for damage, discrepancies or quality issues.
• Label and store stock in the correct locations.
• Update stock records and maintain accurate inventory data.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics colleagues to ensure seamless operations.
• Keep the work area clean, organised and compliant with health & safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse, goods‑in or inbound role (preferred but not essential).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Positive team player with a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
