Warehouse Operative – Immediate Start

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Operative to join our client’s busy warehouse in St. Neots with an immediate start. The role is full‑time on a shift pattern (06:00‑14:30 or 13:30‑22:00) and involves handling goods throughout the inbound and outbound processes.

Key responsibilities

• Unload supplier pallets and record stock using Goods Received Notes (GRN) on the ERP system.
• Put away stock efficiently into racking and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Load pallets and loose cartons onto fleet or third‑party vehicles for dispatch.
• Perform forklift‑truck duties as required, including moving pallets and stock.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse and yard hygiene and support deep‑clean initiatives.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks and contribute to annual improvement projects.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift items up to 25 kg safely.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Motivated “can‑do” attitude and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Forklift licence is preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic ERP usage.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Forklift licence (preferred).
