Warehouse Operative

About the role

Responsive Personnel is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join a client’s team in Sharpness. The role involves handling goods, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting the smooth operation of the warehouse on a full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload and check incoming deliveries.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate stock records and report any discrepancies.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks where trained.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Assist with regular stock counts and inventory control.
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines at all times.

Required profile

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good physical fitness and capacity to lift heavy items.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Basic numeracy and literacy.
• Team‑oriented attitude.
