Warehouse Operative

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our busy logistics team in Croydon. The role offers flexible shift patterns, a competitive hourly rate, and the possibility of a permanent contract after a successful twelve‑week period.

Key responsibilities

• Unload trailers and sort parcels for delivery routes.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Support drivers and monitor deliveries using internal systems.
• Handle customer queries and complaints.
• Update spreadsheets and verify delivery information.
• Assist with the smooth running of daily warehouse operations.

Required profile

• Reliable and hardworking with flexible availability for shift patterns.
• Previous experience in warehouse, administration or customer service.
• Good communication and organisational abilities.
• Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Team‑leader or supervisory experience is beneficial but not essential.

Required skills

• Basic IT proficiency, including use of spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook.

What we offer

• £12.92 per hour.
• 40‑hour week with shift options (05:30‑14:30 or 13:00‑22:00).
