Warehouse Operative

About the role

Pertemps is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for Royal Mail's busy mail processing centre in Milton Keynes. The role involves handling, packaging and preparing parcels for shipment in a fast‑paced environment with flexible shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack, weigh and label products according to daily orders.
• Ensure packages are correctly packaged and sealed.
• Log shipping, order and label paperwork.
• Use smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan and prepare orders.
• Move and position materials to optimise inventory and meet customer orders.
• Compare invoices to received items to verify incoming shipments.
• Keep products organised, separated and rotated.
• Follow safety protocols and report any issues.

Required profile

• Good level of physical fitness for a hands‑on role.
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
• Flexibility to work weekends and additional shifts.
• Ability to pass a DBS criminal background check.

• Full‑time temporary assignment until 2 October 2026.
