Warehouse Operative

About the role

CTRG is looking for full‑time Warehouse Operatives to join the Co‑op store in Andover. You will work in a chilled (2‑5 °C) or freezer (‑25 °C) environment, handling a range of products including meat, alcohol and general stock. The role is ongoing temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent after 12 weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders for store deliveries across chilled, frozen and ambient zones using manual handling equipment.
• Operate a voice‑activated picking system to locate and retrieve items efficiently.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, handling cages and pallets safely.
• Distribute products to their correct warehouse locations.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet productivity and performance targets.

Required profile

• Willingness to work in cold‑store environments and handle temperature‑controlled goods.
• Full‑time availability – not suitable for short‑term commitments.
• Ability to work any shift (morning, afternoon, night) including weekends.
• Team‑oriented attitude with a focus on meeting key targets.

Required skills

• Experience using voice‑activated picking technology.
• Competence with manual handling equipment such as low‑level order pickers (LLOP).
