Warehouse Operative

About the role

Join Best Food Logistics as a Warehouse Operative in Royton, supporting the UK’s unique flexible multi‑temp delivery network. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, using voice technology to pick and dispatch products for leading food and drink brands.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately pick and dispatch goods using voice‑guided systems.
• Check product quality, shelf life and ensure robust packaging for delivery.
• Assemble and stack orders to the highest standard for clients.
• Collaborate with team members to meet corporate goals and operational KPIs.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and reporting procedures.
• Work a 5‑day rolling rota, including weekends and public holidays, with potential overtime.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, committed and driven to achieve results.
• Pride in work and a mindset for continuous improvement.
• Previous experience in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, bank and public holidays.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week and undertake overtime when required.

Required skills

• FLT License (desirable).
• Voice picking experience (desirable).
