Warehouse Operative – Leyland

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative for our Leyland site, supporting safe and efficient operations within a high‑performing manufacturing environment. You will join a team responsible for the smooth movement of raw materials, packaging and finished goods while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a range of manual handling equipment (MHE) to move raw materials, packaging and finished goods safely.
• Maintain accurate, real‑time updates to inventory and operational IT systems.
• Work a 224‑rotation shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off) covering 07:00‑19:00 and 19:00‑07:00.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and company quality standards.
• Support world‑class customer service by meeting internal targets and deadlines.

Required profile

• Demonstrated knowledge of health and safety practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Valid FLT (forklift) licence and confidence in using manual handling equipment.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work effectively as part of a production team.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high‑quality results.
