Warehouse Operative – Parts Department

About the role

Arnold Clark is seeking an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join the Parts department at the Albion Parts Centre in Glasgow. You will help keep the warehouse organised, process customer orders and support delivery operations while working in a friendly, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and record incoming deliveries.
• Respond to internal and external queries via email or phone.
• Assess customer parts requirements and liaise with multiple suppliers.
• Locate new stock lines and pick items for customer orders.
• Perform occasional delivery duties, including loading and unloading trucks using a forklift.
• Carry out regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and basic knowledge of stock‑control measures.
• Previous experience in a similar warehouse environment.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.

Required skills

• Forklift licence (preferred).
• Good level of computer literacy.
