Warehouse Operative – Picker (Full‑time)

About the role

The Warehouse Operative / Picker will support the day‑to‑day running of LWC Drinks' North East depot. This physically‑active role involves picking orders, storing incoming stock and assisting with stock audits.

Key responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately and place them in the correct delivery locations.
• Put away new stock promptly, ensuring each item is stored in the proper bin‑bay and matches the delivery note.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors.
• Assist with weekly stock audits and monthly weekend stock takes.
• Complete paperwork for out‑of‑date, damaged stock and equipment usage.
• Follow health and safety procedures and wear required protective equipment.
• Support drivers as a second‑man when needed.

Required profile

• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a weekend rota (approximately 45 hours per week).

Required skills

• Flexi FLT licence (advantageous).
