Warehouse Operative with Forklift Licence

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid forklift licence to join a leading automotive manufacturing operation in Dagenham. The role involves supporting production and logistics by moving materials safely and efficiently throughout the site.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a counter‑balance forklift truck safely within the manufacturing facility.
- Load, unload and transport parts, components and finished products across the site.
- Supply production lines with required materials and components.
- Carry out daily vehicle and equipment safety checks.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work environment.
- Assist with stock movements and inventory control when required.
Required profile
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS or equivalent).
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing or logistics setting.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
- Reliability, punctuality and a proactive work approach.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Required skills
- Counterbalance forklift truck operation (RTITB/ITSSAR/NPORS certified).
