Warehouse Operative – Witham (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our busy Witham warehouse on a full‑time basis. The role involves handling inbound and outbound goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload goods, supplies and shipping containers.
• Check deliveries for damage or missing items and record discrepancies.
• Book in, store and move stock manually or using lifting equipment and forklift trucks.
• Pick and pack multi‑item customer orders.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records, paperwork and WMS data.
• Keep work areas clean, organised and safe.
• Communicate with customers via email and telephone.
• Ensure all activities comply with Health and Safety regulations.

Required profile

• Previous warehouse experience, especially in picking and packing multi‑piece orders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proactive, reliable and able to work well as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical fitness for regular lifting and manual handling.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Use of Warehouse Management System (WMS).
