Warehouse Operator

About the role

Our client is seeking a reliable, hands‑on Warehouse Operator to join a friendly team in Epsom. You will be responsible for picking, packing and dispatching customer orders while supporting a range of warehouse activities. The role offers a stable, full‑time position with flexible start times after training.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately using pick lists.
• Securely pack items and prepare parcels for dispatch, including labelling and weighing.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure order accuracy before shipping.
• Assist with palletising larger consignments and constructing wooden crates or protective packaging.
• Replenish stock, unload deliveries, and perform goods‑in checks.
• Support inventory control through regular stock checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely following training.

Required profile

• Reliable with a strong work ethic and good attendance.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.

Required skills

• Practical DIY or carpentry ability.
• Experience with stock management systems.

• Salary between £26,000 and £27,000 per year, dependent on experience.
