Warehouse Person

About the role

Join the UK’s leading trade kitchen supplier as a Warehouse Person, playing a vital part in keeping the depot running smoothly. You will ensure stock is organised, safe and ready for collection or delivery, supporting trade customers in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and verify stock against documentation while following health and safety standards.
• Carry out daily checks on forklift trucks and other equipment.
• Secure stock, prepare items for dispatch and maintain accurate records.
• Perform regular stock counts, rotate inventory and keep the warehouse tidy.
• Assist trade customers with a professional service and support deliveries, collections and general warehouse operations.
• Collaborate closely with the wider depot team to maintain smooth operations.

Required profile

• Valid forklift licence (desirable but not mandatory).
• Good understanding of stock control and health & safety procedures.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, literacy, numeracy and time‑management skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude with clear communication.
• Reliable, hands‑on and proud of maintaining a safe, tidy warehouse.
