Warehouse Shift Manager

About the role

As a Warehouse Shift Manager at Asda, you will lead a team to keep the distribution centre operating smoothly. You will ensure goods are received, stored and dispatched efficiently while upholding high standards of safety and accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate and supervise the shift team, fostering accountability and a positive culture.
• Manage throughput, stock accuracy and compliance in a fast‑paced environment.
• Champion health and safety, hygiene and legal standards on the floor.
• Analyse data to improve efficiency, reduce costs and drive commercial performance.
• Monitor KPIs and productivity targets, using insights to deliver results.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing or supervising in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards.
• Passion for coaching and developing team members.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
