Warehouse Shift Manager - Nights

About the role

The Warehouse Shift Manager – Nights supports the Site Warehouse Operations Manager in delivering efficient, cost‑effective warehouse operations during the night shift. You will work closely with the Site Management team to ensure the warehouse runs smoothly and meets the required service levels for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily night‑shift warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain productivity targets and budgetary constraints while ensuring a safe working environment.
• Lead and manage warehouse operatives, monitoring performance and output against targets.
• Supervise all warehouse processes on a daily, period and annual basis.
• Contribute to continuous improvement plans to enhance operational quality.
• Ensure internal warehouse systems are used correctly and efficiently.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing warehouse operations on a shift basis.
• Ability to lead a team, meet output targets and maintain high standards of safety.
• Strong organisational skills with a focus on productivity and cost control.
• Willingness to support quality‑improvement initiatives.
