Warehouse Stock Administrator – £28,000 per year

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Warehouse Stock Administrator to support our client’s warehouse operations. The role covers inbound, outbound and stock administration, requiring strong organisational skills and a customer‑focused mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Manage transport and carrier bookings, handling inbound and outbound queries.
• Submit daily customer manifests and wave order volumes to meet SLA requirements.
• Set up and action stock transfer requests, resolve stock issues and maintain optimal availability.
• Perform general administrative duties such as exception management, holiday booking and audit tasks.
• Operate the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and analyse spreadsheets.
• Assist the Customer Service team with query resolution and production administration (labels, stock allocation, specifications, costings).
• Prepare DGN and export paperwork, conduct P.I. counts and audit BBE dates for stock rotation.
• Identify and report stock discrepancies, investigate adjustments and support loss‑prevention activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in logistics, procurement or operational administration.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer‑focused attitude and strong communication skills.
