Warehouse Stock Selector – 9am‑4pm (30‑hour week)

About the role

Join Aldi's close‑knit warehouse team in Darlington as a Selector. Working 9 am to 4 pm on a 30‑hour week, you will pick stock for specific stores and load it onto the correct pallets, ready for drivers to collect.

Key responsibilities

• Receive picking instructions through a headset and act on them promptly.
• Select the right items for each store, checking store numbers for accuracy.
• Load selected stock onto designated pallets in the correct order.
• Verify that all accompanying paperwork is correct and complete.
• Maintain a tidy and safe work environment while handling weekend shifts.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Good numeracy skills for checking store numbers and paperwork.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift and move stock throughout the shift.
• Flexibility to work weekends as part of the rota.

Required skills

• Proficiency with headset communication systems.
• Basic reading and numerical verification skills.
