Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Our client in Chippenham is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a small team and ensure smooth daily operations. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and housekeeping within a busy warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out picking, packing and general warehouse duties.
• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload and move stock throughout the warehouse.
• Lead and support a team of two colleagues, delegating tasks and monitoring performance.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse, adhering to health and safety procedures.
• Perform manual handling of bags up to 25 kg and ensure safe lifting practices.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a fast‑paced warehouse setting.
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (essential).
• Confident in leading a small team and taking responsibility.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a dusty, industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety standards.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
