Warehouse Supervisor – Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the night shift (7 pm‑7 am) at our Heathrow‑based warehouse. The role ensures smooth operations, compliance with SOPs and safety standards, and effective hand‑over between shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and control warehouse activities across air, ocean, road, perishable and healthcare operations.
• Oversee loading, unloading and dispatch of goods in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Complete all paperwork for inbound and outbound movements and ensure accurate documentation for drivers.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and security standards throughout the warehouse.
• Conduct daily briefings, coach staff and manage attendance, sickness and holiday requests.
• Coordinate with the Site Operations Manager on resource planning, staffing levels and departmental budgets.
• Monitor performance, drive continuous improvement and report any anomalies.
• Implement health‑and‑safety and security policies and manage hazardous substances in accordance with legislation.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising warehouse or logistics teams, preferably on night shift patterns.
• Good knowledge of health and safety, security and hazardous substance regulations (EU/UK).
• Ability to manage staff rotas, absences and workload allocation.
• Strong communication skills for briefings and reporting to senior management.
• Attention to detail for paperwork, performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
