About the role
We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our night‑shift team on a 4‑on/4‑off roster in Slough. You will oversee warehouse staff, manage the loading and unloading of air‑freight and European haulage cargo, and ensure health and safety standards are met.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise warehouse personnel and daily operations during night shifts.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
- Cross‑check paperwork against cargo to ensure accuracy.
- Operate and oversee manual handling equipment, preferably a 10‑ton forklift.
- Maintain health and safety practices throughout the warehouse.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or transport system role (preferred).
- Proven ability to work night‑shift patterns and commute to Slough.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Required skills
- Forklift operation (10‑ton capacity).
- Use of manual handling equipment.
