Warehouse Team Leader

About the role

Rotork is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and the achievement of productivity targets. You will coordinate receipt, storage and dispatch of goods while driving continuous improvement through Lean principles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the warehouse team, providing training, coaching and performance assessments.
• Implement Rotork’s Environmental Health & Safety policy, report and close out incidents.
• Apply 5S, visual management and Lean daily management to optimise processes.
• Manage all warehouse activities: goods receipt, put‑away, picking, material handling and dispatch.
• Plan resource and capacity requirements based on production, supplier and customer schedules.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, control flow segregation between production and finished‑goods storage.
• Facilitate Tier 1 SQDCP processes and ensure smooth information flow to Tier 2.
• Drive service‑level improvements for accuracy, quality and lead times.

Required profile

• Proven experience in warehousing and inventory control methods.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and Lean tools such as 5S and visual management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Valid Forklift Truck Licence.
• Ability to lead, motivate and work under pressure.
