Warehouse Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join our fast‑growing logistics operation in Farnborough. You will lead a team of operatives, ensuring parcels are handled safely, accurately and on time while maintaining high standards of health and safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of warehouse operatives to meet daily targets.
• Plan and coordinate workloads, ensuring parcels are scanned, sorted and loaded correctly.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and implement improvements.
• Conduct daily briefings, shift handovers and performance discussions.
• Enforce health and safety policies and report accidents, incidents and near‑misses.
• Support induction, training and coaching of new and existing staff.
• Manage attendance, time‑keeping and absence in line with procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and report equipment defects.
• Liaise with transport, operations and management teams for smooth daily operations.
• Assist with stock control, operational reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment.
• Proven experience supervising or leading a team.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
