Warehouse Team Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Manager to lead our evening shift (2:30 pm‑11:00 pm) at a busy distribution centre in Liverpool. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring orders are processed efficiently, inventory is accurate, and the team works safely and productively.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support warehouse operatives throughout the shift.
• Coordinate picking, packing and dispatch activities.
• Monitor workflow, allocate resources and adjust priorities to meet operational targets.
• Oversee stock movements, replenishment and returns with accuracy.
• Maintain health and safety standards across the warehouse.
• Coach team members and drive continuous improvement.
• Report operational issues and provide updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Previous experience leading a warehouse or logistics team.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast‑moving environment.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Experience with warehouse management systems is desirable but not essential.
