Warehouse Technician – Technical Products (Basingstoke)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Warehouse Technician to join a technical company in Basingstoke. The role involves handling specialised medical‑industry products with a high level of accuracy and care, supporting day‑to‑day warehouse operations on a standard Monday‑Friday day shift.

Key responsibilities

• Unload deliveries, verify and record incoming goods accurately.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Handle delicate technical equipment, ensuring no damage during movement.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing items, reporting any shortages or faults.
• Maintain up‑to‑date paperwork and system records using hand scanners and warehouse software.
• Carry out regular stock checks and support stock control processes.
• Perform basic assembly tasks where required.
• Collaborate with Customer Services and Purchasing on stock queries.
• Keep the warehouse area secure, organised and clean.

Required profile

• Previous warehousing experience, preferably in a technical, scientific or engineering environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict processes.
• Physically fit to handle heavy items safely.
• Proactive, responsible attitude with a focus on accuracy.

Required skills

• Use of hand scanners.
• Warehouse management system operation.
• Basic assembly techniques.
