Waste Disposal Operative

About the role

We are seeking two customer‑focused Waste Disposal Operatives to join our Property Services team in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. Working 37 hours per week on a permanent, full‑time basis, you will help keep homes and estates safe, clean and well maintained by removing waste, clearing properties and supporting various maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of waste from residential and estate properties.
• Clear properties and support a range of planned and responsive maintenance works.
• Work independently and collaboratively to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Operate handheld devices for job reporting and follow health & safety procedures, including work in confined spaces, at height and manual handling of heavy items.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused attitude with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic IT proficiency and ability to use a handheld device.
• Full, valid driving licence.
• Willingness to undergo a basic DBS check (provided by employer).
