Waste Recycling Operative – Full‑time Yard Labourer

About the role
Join a family‑run business dedicated to sustainability as a Waste Recycling Operative. You will work on a busy site near Milton Keynes, helping to sort and process recyclable materials while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform general yard labouring and picking duties.
- Sort and segregate recyclables such as aggregates, wood, and metal.
- Remove waste materials from conveyor systems.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and follow health & safety procedures.
- Use handheld booking‑in tablets to record work (training provided).
Required profile
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a noisy, busy environment.
- Reliable, hardworking and safety‑conscious.
- Comfortable standing for long periods in an air‑conditioned, heated indoor area.
Required skills
- Handheld tablet operation.
