About the role
We are seeking an experienced Water Consultant to join our thriving consultancy team serving the commercial and residential property sector. The role combines home‑based work with scheduled site visits, allowing you to balance report preparation with on‑site risk assessments.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct health and safety risk assessments focused on Legionella in hot and cold water systems.
- Perform site‑based Legionella risk assessments in accordance with UK standards.
- Prepare clear, technical reports and communicate findings to clients.
- Maintain diaries and plan travel to multiple sites, using your own vehicle.
Required profile
- City & Guilds (or equivalent) qualification in Legionella risk assessment and awareness.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
- Ability to work independently from home while meeting scheduled site commitments.
Required skills
- Legionella risk assessment for hot and cold water systems.
- Knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG 274, BS 8580‑1 and BS 7592 standards.
- Strong technical report writing and IT proficiency.
