Water Hygiene Engineer – Commercial & Public Sector

About the role

The company is a well‑established water hygiene and treatment provider seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to support commercial and public sector sites. You will deliver planned and reactive water hygiene services, ensuring all systems comply with current legislation and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver water hygiene services across a variety of client sites.
• Perform temperature monitoring, system flushing and water sampling.
• Service and maintain thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs) and carry out minor remedial works.
• Inspect, clean and disinfect cold‑water storage tanks and calorifiers.
• Complete showerhead descaling and disinfection tasks.
• Ensure all work complies with ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04‑01 and WRAS guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in water hygiene or a related plumbing role.
• Relevant water‑hygiene qualifications or training.
• Full UK driving licence.
