Water Treatment Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to join a growing team within the water industry in North West England. The role involves ensuring water systems are safe, compliant and efficiently maintained across a variety of client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Closed‑system analytical testing and remediation
• Ensuring compliance with ACOP L8 guidelines
• Dead‑leg removal and tank inspections
• Water sampling, analysis and temperature monitoring
• Disinfection of domestic water systems and closed‑system dosing
• Calorifier pasteurisation and cleaning/chlorination of storage tanks and cooling towers
• Thermostatic mixing valve (TMV) testing and servicing
• Shower‑head descaling and disinfection

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience in water treatment or water hygiene
• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and relevant qualifications
• Full clean UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel nationwide and work overtime when required
