Wealth Management Process and Quality Specialist

About the role

UBS is seeking a Process and Quality Specialist to join its Wealth Management team in Edinburgh. The role focuses on managing banking process risks, delivering training, and ensuring high‑quality standards across client‑facing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for queries on regulations, processes, tools and risk.
• Design and deliver training on new tools and processes to improve quality and enablement.
• Monitor risk reports, flag issues, and escalate when necessary.
• Identify, evaluate and implement mitigation measures for client‑related risks.
• Collaborate with client advisors, assistants, the desk head and other internal departments to improve assessments, documentation and remediation.
• Maintain the quality of client relationships by proactively delivering holistic solutions.
• Propose process improvements and foster a risk‑aware, efficient culture.
• Provide feedback on initiatives, tools and processes and suggest innovative ideas.

Required profile

• Experience in financial services, preferably within a client‑facing or risk‑focused team.
• Banking‑related education (apprenticeship, traineeship or bachelor’s degree).
• Strong knowledge of wealth management products, offerings and processes.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on standards and quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
