Wealth Management Team Manager – Paraplanners & Administrators

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an award‑winning wealth management firm in the heart of Glasgow. As the business continues to grow, we are looking to appoint an experienced Team Manager to lead and develop a high‑performing team of Paraplanners and Administrators who provide exceptional support to our Financial Planners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Paraplanners and Administrators.
• Conduct regular one‑to‑one meetings, performance reviews and annual appraisals.
• Coach and mentor team members to maximise individual and team performance.
• Support recruitment activities, including interviewing and onboarding new colleagues.
• Identify training and development opportunities to enhance capability across the team.
• Promote a collaborative, high‑performing and client‑focused culture.
• Work alongside senior leadership to support business growth and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experienced people manager with a proven ability to develop successful teams within a professional services environment.
• Previous experience managing administration or operational support teams.
• Strong coaching, mentoring and people development skills.
• Experience conducting performance reviews and development conversations.
• Previous interviewing and recruitment experience.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A positive, collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people.
• Experience within wealth management or financial services is highly advantageous.
