Web Developer – PHP/Laravel & WordPress

About the role

We are partnering with a growing digital agency in Central London to hire a Web Developer who enjoys solving problems and building high‑quality web solutions. You will work closely with senior leadership, influence technical decisions, and help shape projects while using modern development practices, including AI‑assisted coding tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain bespoke websites and web applications.
• Build solutions using PHP, Laravel, and WordPress.
• Work on new development projects and enhancements to existing platforms.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.
• Contribute to technical discussions and promote development best practices.
• Utilise AI‑assisted development tools to improve efficiency and workflow.
• Support team growth through knowledge sharing and mentoring.

Required profile

• Commercial experience developing with PHP.
• Strong experience with Laravel and WordPress.
• Good understanding of MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience using Git or other version‑control systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Curious mindset with genuine interest in technology and AI.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
