Web Merchandiser – E‑commerce & Digital Team

About the role

We are seeking a Web Merchandiser to join our growing Digital team, working on a busy e‑commerce site built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud. The role is initially a 6‑12 month fixed‑term contract with the potential to become permanent, based in Uxbridge with a hybrid schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the online product catalogue, ensuring accurate descriptions, images and metadata.
• Merchandise category pages to enhance navigation, customer experience and conversion rates.
• Create and schedule promotional banners, landing pages and seasonal campaigns.
• Support new product launches and routine website content updates.
• Monitor product performance using analytics and recommend merchandising improvements.
• Perform quality‑assurance checks across desktop and mobile devices.
• Make basic HTML/CSS edits to improve page presentation and resolve minor issues.
• Apply SEO best practices, including metadata, keywords and page optimisation.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in e‑commerce, digital merchandising or website content management.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Business Manager) or a comparable platform.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and SEO principles.
• Experience with Google Analytics or similar analytics tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational abilities and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

• £36,000 per annum plus a 5 % performance bonus.
