Website and Digital Performance Manager

About the role

As the Website and Digital Performance Manager you will own the end‑to‑end digital customer journey for Newcastle Building Society, Manchester Building Society and Newcastle Financial Advisers. You will shape the digital roadmap, web strategy and performance, ensuring the websites drive measurable commercial results and deliver an outstanding member experience.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the digital roadmap and web strategy across multiple brands.
• Lead journey design, website optimisation and funnel conversion for member and broker pathways.
• Use data and insight to continuously improve acquisition, engagement and conversion metrics.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, IT and external partners to enhance web development, SEO and adopt new technologies, including AI.
• Oversee digital content and campaign delivery, ensuring compliance with brand, legal and regulatory standards such as Consumer Duty, FCA and GDPR.
• Manage a high‑performing team, budgets, suppliers and agencies to deliver value, quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven digital leader with strategic thinking, technical expertise and commercial acumen.
• Strong analytical mindset able to turn insight into actionable improvements.
• Successful track record of driving digital acquisition, engagement and conversion in a regulated financial services environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence at all levels.
• Leadership experience with a focus on building and motivating teams.
